11-26-2009 Lady Jags player selected to Canadian National U20 team.

Former Lady Jags player Rehana Murani was recently invited to participate with the Canadian Nation U20 team pool in Mexico this past October playing 2 games against Mexico's U20 National Team (T 3-3, L 0-1).
Rehana's performance at the Canadian camp exemplified the level that several of the Lady Jags currently display and others aspire also, and as such was invited back to be a part of the team's training for the upcoming Women's U20 World Cup tournament in 2010.
Rehana was originally part of the Overseas Lady Jags scheduled
to participate in the Pre-World Cup Tournament Dec
18-20 in Guyana before this opportunity presented itself.
The Coaching staff,
management and her former Lady Jags teammates both in Guyana and North
America, would like to wish Rehana all the success in her bright football
future, and thank her for her contribution to Guyana Women's Football
development.
